Overview

You will get picked up from your hotel where you will be transferred to the Monastery of St. Catherine, on arrival you will get a guided tour of the Monastery. It stands at the foot of Mount Horeb where, the Old Testament records, Moses received the Tablet of the Law. The mountain is known and revered by Muslims as Jebel Musa. The entire area is sacred to the three world religions.. Christianity, Islam and Judism.

You will be taken to a restaurant where you can enjoy a buffet style dinner.

You will also visit the Burning Bush, the Old Refectory, Well of Moses, Basilica of the Transfiguration, a chapel, a crypt and an old cemetery. Enjoy your transfer back to your hotel.

When visiting Holy places, we recommend you wear clothes covering your shoulders and knees. (women are allowed to visit temples in trousers but required to wear a hat or scarf).

This tour is organised on  Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Departure from hotels from 05:00 (depending on the location of the hotel).

Return to the hotel by 16:30-17:30

Prices for children:

From 0 to 5 years  – free of charge.

From 6 to 11 years old  – 50% of the cost of the tour.
